Young people’s views

The SPIRTO project finished on 31 May 2015. This website remains online as a reference archive.

This report describes the findings from a series of focus groups involving young people aged 12‐18 years. The aims of the focus groups were to establish whether young people prefer a certain format or style of presentation; to learn whether they feel messages about the risks of ‘sexting’ are being effectively conveyed; and to see if and how education resources might be improved. An additional aim was to seek young people’s views on the aspects of materials that they believe would appeal to parents and professionals learning about these issues.
